The McDavid groin strap is a fully adjustable neoprene strap. These groin straps are a latex free strap that are contoured and have a low profile. The strap provides heat and compression to the upper thigh and hamstring areas.
The groin strap is nylon faced on both sides with velcro closing to achieve a comfortable fit. These devices are also employed as a reusable wrap for larger extremities.
McDavid groin straps will fit either thigh and have a universal sizing for 16in to 26in measured at mid thigh.
McDavid have designated the McDavid groin strap as Level I in the range of McDavid Sport Medical products. Level 1 McDavid sports supports are designed for minor pain, sprains and instabilities. These supports and braces offer relief from problems like arthritis, bursitis, tendonitis. Soft tissue is supported by compression and the device may promote healing through therapeutic heat.
